So you or your child wants to join scouting, That’s Great!For more information on Joining Scouting in NE Mississippi complete the Join Now form and one of our staff members will contact you. After finding a local scouting unit fill out the Membership Form for Youth or Adult and mail, fax or hand-deliver to the Yocona Area Council Service Center.

Scouting Programs |
For more information on Scouting Programs and how it can benefit you click the links below:Cub Scouting for boys in 1st -5th grade. In Cub Scouting, boys and their families have fun and adventure in a program that builds character and instills values.Boy Scouting is available to boys who have earned the Arrow of Light Award and are at least 10 years old or have completed the fifth grade and are at least 10, or who are 11, but not yet 18 years old. The program achieves the BSA's objectives of developing character, citizenship, and personal fitness. Venturing is a youth development program of the Boy Scouts of America for young men and women who are 14 through 20 years of age. Venturing's purpose is to provide positive experiences to help young people mature and to prepare them to become responsible and caring adults. |
