SERVICE INFORMATION
It was decided in 1994 that the lodge would have a special service flap for those who completed a minimum hours of service to scouting in different areas and to the community. The number of hours and the different areas of service were set at the annual banquet that was held that year in Booneville. The different areas and minimum number of hours in each area are as follows: Community 8 hrs, District 10 hrs, Council 15 hrs, Unit 12 hrs, and Lodge 20 hrs. There were to be a total of 85 hours minimum necessary to qualify for the service flap. The total minimum hours only totaled 65 hours so there is a need to do 20 hours additional service above the minimum designated in the different areas. This service could be in any of the areas or could be in more than one area. The first year, 1995, there were twenty six who earned the service flap.
