Standard Issue 2000-2001 (S-47)

The lodge was to the point that we needed a new flap that could be considered the "standard issue" flap for all purposes at this time. In the early part of 2000, the LEC made the decision to order a large quantity of flaps that would be considered our "standard issue" flap and that way there would be no problem with the reorder of a flap being considered a different flap designation just because of some slight difference in the color of a thread or the slight difference in a thickness of a letter in the design of the flap. They voted to order 2000 of these flaps and issue them to people who went through the ordeal as the lodge's standard flap of the time. There were other flaps in the works at the time but this would be considered the standard flap until they ran out. They were first issued at the post camp ordeal on August 25th. The design is much like the 2000 conclave flap and the S-8 with different colors and the wording at the bottom to say Yocona Area Council BSA. This flap carried much history with it because of the design and was sold until it sold out.
