The black border standard issue flap was designed after the basic lodge flaps like the S-1 and S-3 and even the even earlier F-1a, F-1b, F-1c, and F-2a. The traditional two dogwood blossoms, the loggerhead snapping turtle, the red CHICKSA 202, the red WWW, and the black arrow with white fletchings. It is fully embroidered with a black rolled edge. This flap was the standard issue flap beginning in 1992 and used as such until the "red eye" was issued in late 1992.
