The S-1 was the first fully embroidered flap for Chicksa 202. It has a cloth back and was restricted to only 2 flaps per life for each member. There is also a thought that there is a S-1a and a S-1b. Again, is this is true, there is only a slight color variation in the background. In the "Bluebook", the S-1a is listed as a dark yellow and the S-1b is listed as a yellow background. The jury is still out on this one too. The information that went into the "Bluebook" came from someone outside our lodge. Our lodge will make a decision on this fact in the near future.
