The S-24 flap was designed to show some of the Chickasaw heritage. Each symbol is significant of something important in the life of the Chickasaw Indians. There is a hidden turtle embrodered in the upper part of the dark green area in the left of the flap and a hidden fleur-de-lis embrodered in the lower part of the blue river between the Indian and the corn stalks.
