2000 Conclave Flap (S-43)

The insignia committee met at the Lodge Banquet on January 15, 2000, and arrived at a list of items related to the lodge insignia to propose to the LEC at their next meeting that delt with the needs of the lodge for upcoming insignia. One of these items was a "trader" flap for the upcoming conclave to be held at Camp Tiak, near Hattiesburg, Mississippi, on the weekend of April 14-16, 2000. The design of the flap was to closely mirror the flap for the 1999 conclave with changes in color to match the ghost flap for the year and to change the wording at the bottom of the flap to be current with the year's conclave date and location. There were 750 of these flaps made and they were first sold at the conclave site on April 14. The flaps sold well to those who attended the conclave and were a big hit on the trading tables.
