Elangomat Flap (S-42)

| The elangomat flap was designed to increase the interest in serving as an elangomat. The idea is credited to Dennis Dickey and Mark Ford. Both had worked hard to increase interest in the elangomat program and since our lodge is such a patch conscience lodge, the idea of the special flap was born. It was posed to the LEC where it passed. The lodge insignia committee came up with a design for the flap and the plan came together. The first flap was awarded at the 2000 lodge banquet in January of 2000. Only one was awarded but at the posting of this page, July, 2000, there are others to be awarded at the next banquet in 2001. This is a very sot after flap since there is only one awarded to a person at a time for serving as an elangomat three times. |
