Black Border Dancing Turtle
Jacket Patch

The Dancing Turtle jacket patch was designed by Jimmy Avent in 1995 as a special patch to be worn on the back of jackets when our lodge attended special events like conclave. The fully embrodered patch has a dancing turtle dressed in Chickasaw dress and has three hidden W's in the turtle's outfit. One is on each arm band and the last is on his face. There were 100 of these patches offered for sale by the lodge to all arrowmen in the lodge. An identical patch was made in a limited quantity that was presented to each member of the Lodge Executive Committee that had a silver mylar border and was never offered for sale by the lodge.
