98 NOAC Flap (S-36)

The 1998 NOAC Flap design was submitted by Nicky Johnston and approved by the insignia committee. The insignia committee wanted the contengent that was going to NOAC to have a new and different flap and pocket cover to display and trade at NOAC. The design used some of the new insignia of our lodge and the OA. The basic background was the flag of the Great State of Mississippi. The dancing turtle that has become an important part of Chicksa 202's insignia was the central design on the flap. The three W's show with one above the shield of the turtle, one in the lower left of the flap, and the last on the turtle's face in red. There is a "hidden" NOAC 98 in the shield and a "hidden" CHICKSA 202 in the center of the blue stripe of the flag in the upper right of the flap. The CHICKSA 202 is not visible on the graphic on the web page but is plainly visible on the flap. The NOAC 98 is visible on the graphic but may not be readable.
