This set was first sold at the lodge banquet held 1/25/97. These flaps have a hidden fleur-de-les embrodered between the the turtle's tail and the bottom border of the flap. This set, when initiated, was to be the current lodge flap. Each member is to wear his/her respective level of membership flap, white for Ordeal member, blue for Brotherhood member, and red for Vigil member. A member could purchase any number of flaps at an event but could only purchase a flap indicating a level of membership above his/her level at the lodge banquet held once a year. This is so a person can complete a collection. At present, there is no accounting of how many patches are in circulation since they are still the current flap set and are still being sold.
