Our Mission: To prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

The Yocona Area Council, BSA serves 12 counties in Northeast Mississippi. The council is made up of over 1,000 volunteers, and 130 chartered partners, and serves over 4,000 youth annually in one of five programs: Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Venturing, Learning for Life, and Exploring.
